Elagablaus had a huge output of billon tetradrachms from Antioch. Here's one example. I don't recall seeing any coin of his where is truly old.




Gordian III also had a predominantly youthful portrait, as shown in this billon tetradrachm from Antioch, recently acquired from an eBay seller.

This coin, which weighs 15.1 grams, features a left facing portrait of Gordian III, which appears to be scarce for this mint. I have not printed a label yet, and more research needs to be done.

There are small areas of weakness on both the obverse, at around 5 o'clock and on the reverse, correspondingly, at around 1 o'clock. Otherwise this is a very nice example.

If anyone can help with the Prieur catalog number for this coin, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

 

On page 51 Prier has this obverse (with radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left and this legend) as 290 (4 examples, but the eagle has tail left) and this reverse (with eagle's head left and tail right, year B, SC in exergue) as 289 (only 1 example, which has only slight drapery on the bust), both "early 241".

So, I think it is ""not in Prier."

I have seen the left facing military bust in combination with the ram below eagle reverse, but not the cuirassed left facing bust in combination with the SC below eagle reverse.
