    Looks like a Great Britain penny of Queen Victoria.

    Very bad shape, maybe worth 10 - 25 cents.

    The bust on the obverse looks modern to me. But, older modern. The pic reminded me, vaguely, of something like this.

    size in relation to your fingers, seems more like a 1/2 penny

    The date is 1877. Either a Penny or Half penny. On the reverse in the left side it will say either ONE or HALF. I can't make it out in the photo. If you can't read it either, a half penny will be about 25mm, a penny about 30mm.
