Since getting back into collecting, I am just looking at EVERYTHING for just a little too long. Just wonder how it made it this long without getting ripped off although I guess I don't know how long it was when it left the mint or wherever they make paper money.
Look at how uneven the bottom margin is. It seems likely the note is not so much a fold over error but was rather poorly cut by some individual either by accident or otherwise. That, or it could be a cutting error but who can say for sure whether it happened at the BEP?
Actually, judging by the uneven bottom border, I think it's probably just damage--the note was normal when it left the BEP, and later had an encounter with an exacto knife or razor blade. Note that the "extra" paper actually falls *within* the boundaries of the original note, rather than being a flap that should have been trimmed off. Besides, position C3 is internal to the sheet, so I don't quite see how a folding error at the BEP could result in this note looking the way it does....
Bingo. Aside from the plate position observation, this is exactly what I was thinking. I just didn't express these observations in as much detail and wanted to give the benefit of a doubt.
Doesnt really look right to me, lets face allot of people out there can do just about anything to alter a note, to give it that exact apperance Desired.
