It didn't matter to Herod. He was the boss. When he found out, there were quite a few painful executions. I don't remember the whole story, but I think it included fire.

JA => I forgot to mention that your aquarium looks "awesome" (good job keepin' the algae off of the glass ... I'm assuming that you have a couple of bottom-suckers, eh?) ... ummm, hoping I don't get booted-out for saying bottom-suckers?!!
The Poseidon Adventure.. The Greek god of the Sea on a Roman coin of Gordian III. I wonder what is He holding : a dolphin? I doubt it, a petrel? a sea bird ?? which one. Please try to guess, and I promise to show you a surprise.!!
With what looks like a coiling tail under Poseidons arm, it looks like a 'monkey' ...Hmmm, Is that where the modern pirates first got the idea?? Probably a required piece of 'equipment' for the old 'Cilician' pirates LOL Hmmm, Are the three you mentioned the only choices??.... "petrel" doesn't ring a bell with me---Crap, now I have to look that up too....
It's described as a dolphin, and it's more clear on other coins. The tail of the dolphin is in the air. But it does look like a bird sometimes.
MZ and JA.. I accept your clever attempts to guess the Poseidon adventure riddle. Now dare you guess this???
That was fished on the shore of Tyre. Hence it could be linked to , let's say, ancient Phoenician surviving species.. LOL
