<p>[QUOTE=&quot;adric22, post: 1512009, member: 38146&quot;]I sell computers on eBay for a living.&nbsp; I know first hand how difficult it can be dealing with morons out there.&nbsp; Nearly 30% of the buyers never actually pay for the item they bought.&nbsp; That&#039;s a lot of work for me to deal with.&nbsp; Then I have people who so absolutely crazy thing.&nbsp; I had one guy recently pay for a computer, then said he was local and wanted to come pick it up.&nbsp; I waited a week for him to pick it up, emailing him every day asking when he wanted to come get it.&nbsp; Never heard from him.&nbsp; Then he filed a claim with paypal saying he had not received the item.&nbsp; When I called paypal they did some investigation and found out the guy really just changed his mind and didn&#039;t want the computer.&nbsp; But they still counted it as a claim against me even though they knew what really happened.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>Craigslist is even more irritating.&nbsp; I post very detailed ads with every piece of information you could possibly imagine.&nbsp;&nbsp; They call me up day and night and ask stupid questions that are answered if they&#039;d just read the ad.&nbsp; For example, I am explicit that the computer works perfectly and includes a money-back guarantee and a 90 day warranty.&nbsp; They call me up and ask &quot;Does it work?&nbsp; Is there anything wrong with it?&quot;&nbsp; Or they call me up and say &quot;How much do you want for this?&quot;&nbsp; Even though the price is clearly indicated.&nbsp; Other people want me to text them photographs of the computers even though I provide usually 4 to 6 really clear photos in the ad of the exact computer I&#039;m selling.&nbsp; Or they want to know what condition the computer is in, even though I&#039;ve provided extremely sharp and clear photos of the computer.&nbsp; It is really infuriating sometimes.</p><p><br /></p><p>And the MOST infuriating part of all, is that after all of the annoying calls and stupid questions, and extra photographs, I&#039;d say about 70% of the people who say they are coming to buy never actually show up.&nbsp; Never hear from them again.&nbsp; I wait around, and wait around.&nbsp; I have other things to do, and places to go, but if I have a customer coming I have to wait at the house.&nbsp; For nothing.&nbsp; People are so rude and inconsiderate.</p><p><br /></p><p>But then they&#039;ll show up 2 weeks later to have me repair the computer they bought from some other joker on craigslist.&nbsp; They thought they were getting a better deal but ended up buying something that had problems with no warranty.&nbsp; By the time I repair it for them they end up spending more money than if they had just bought from me to begin with.</p><p><br /></p><p>OK.. my rant is over.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
