Unfortunately there’s no date. But it a multiple strick ms63(what’s noted)

I’ll get a better picture when I get home.

Actually, based on what I see, I think it could be a 2000. But unknown mint.

Does it match up to the size of a LMC planchet? It appears to have too much space between the edge and the lettering. I'm curious as to what everyone else is going to say. I don't see how it could have been done at the mint.

    MS63?
    Bwahahahaha!

Nice double struck broad struck, though.
    1990 or 2000.

What causes the extra width and the lines you see on the side?

I am watching:wideyed: because that is a really cool error.
I was looking thru Error ref. Trying to find what fits.
    I found this http://www.error-ref.com/mulitple-strikes-flip-over/
Although it doesn't fit the mold one of the strikes seems much more off centered.
The spit flan says that it is http://www.error-ref.com/?s=extremely+strong+broad+strike
I am having a hard time with: Last photo why is the indented area struck with a mirror image? Yet the first photo shows both details correctly.
Maybe I am not reading the coin correctly.
Either way it is a cool error Mike.

That's actually an error? I would've cast that off as damage at the outset.

broadstrikes are struck outside the collar causing the coin to expand, cent broadstrikes are usually about the size of a nickel, and depending on how severe, will usually cause the copper plating to split, revealing the zinc core..

That's why you need to know how the mint made errors.

Did you find that one or did you buy it already slabbed? I'm wondering how people find examples like these. Bags? I'm sure it wouldn't fit in a roll.

Coin Shops, Coin Shows, ebay. I picked one up from Fred Weinberg at the Philadelphia ANA show last year. I sent it to NGC to get it certified last weekend.

The OP's coin is most certainly genuine.
Actually, I agree with it being at or near MS63.
