What about it? It's clearly NOT a DDO-001. It's not even in the ballpark. In order to have a DDO-001, your coin has to have EACH AND EVERY aspect of the PHOTOGRAPHS in post #6. ONE OR TWO DOESN'T COUNT. A majority doesn't count. All but two or three doesn't count. This is a BINARY thing. EVERY diagnostic has to be there. Nothing is graded on a curve, and 99% is a failing grade. Welcome to the world of hub doubling.
I am pointing to the letter which it is I think would be the most obvious one to help someone realize the error was made. Hypothetically, if only the letter D showing DDO were left on a coin which be so damaged, we couldn't see the rest of the lettering, I still would say we could conclusively determined it is a DDO, guaranteed. So, we are on the same page here.
I can, but it not doubling on a hub that caused that, it was either mechanical ( since I can only see a couple of letters, or PMD. Not a DDO , espec. 001. IMO jim
Wow. I went out to mow my lawn and this is what I came back to. You guys shoulda warned me to get the popcorn before I scrolled through. Waggers - I'm not sure if you are delusional or a troll, or possibly both. Either way, you need to take a break and figure your life out.
@Mr. Waggers One day you will stop looking at your terrible photography, and actually make a decision for yourself, with your own eyes. There surely is a bigger picture here.
Its not just the members here. I made a stroll through the DD pages of ebay and saw more than 60% of nonTPG nonexistent ( checking 1917DDO1, 1936DDO-2, 1972DDO-1) including quite a few that have never had DD reported. It was over 75% for the '17. I would hate to think what the FB stores would have.
Interesting point, Jim. So what is "the hobby's" responsibility here? Capitulate? Educate? Fight back with nukes? What? This goes WAAAAAY beyond the normal ebb and flow. This is intentional misinformation garbage.
