Congrats on catching yourself a fine-looking loggerhead! I always think of these marked turtles as the tattooed tough guys of Aegina :D.

Congrats John. I was looking at that Turtle, but decided not to participate in this auction because of my recent gold purchase. That's really a nice looking turtle.

These are Post Turtles :D. I shoot everything on a little dowel which is ~4" long. I have some non-sticky silicone putty which keeps the coin in place. For the side shots, I just stuck the coin on its side in the putty and photoshopped out the bit of putty which was visible.

Very nice turtle Senior Eng. I saw the Agora & Pecunem turtle offerings recently & there were several that included full & partial heads. Perhaps they came from the same hoard as my head-less bale of turtles. :)

    Fantastic turtle, Eng!! (congrats)

Hey, our two turtles look so similar that they might be ancient brothers, my friend? (maybe we're related?)
