I've been using Whitman Classic albums for many years. I had one Littleton and didn't like the way the pages hung up when turning the pages so gave it away. Even trying to give it away was not easy. My experience with Dansco is they cost more than Whitman, are heavier, bigger, better made. However not as versital around here anyway. Can not get replacement pages easily for some of the albums. Also, don't like the brownish color of Dansco because they don't show up Lincoln Cents that well although on a shelf they do look more impressive. But then who puts coin albums out on display anyway. With Whitman Classic Albums you can easily acquire blank album covers, blank pages for all albums, extra plastic guides, gold leaf rub off numbers and letters that will match existing lettering on and in the albums. I have now strectched one of my Lincoln Cent Albums to 11 pages. Last two pages are for proofs from 1938 to present. All have had the little gold numbering added below by me. I've made my Mercury Dime Album into sets #1 and #2 with divider sheets loaded with coin statistics, prices, grades, etc.

However, the problem with which to buy is pending on where you live. In the Mid West Whitman Coin Albums, Books, etc are everywhere. I'm not sure but have been told that in the far West, a place called California or something like that, Dansco is the rage. Not sure what is available in the East. Not going there to find out either. Whitman used to be made in Wisconsin so that may be the reason so prevelant around here. Whitman on line is excessively expensive and talking to them they said they have to be so distributors would have a chance to make a profit also. I find the best place to buy Albums is at the coin shows around here.
