Littleton coin company and grading

    Yeah ok I see no I don't have any photos it's been 18 years or so but I never thought much of littleton after.

    It has always been my experience that Littleton grades very accurately. One exception are the coins listed as average Circulation, but for coins with a given grade, they are accurate. I've even sold common coins to them and they paid fair prices for accurately graded pieces.

    I used to buy some of their loss leaders and would return all of the approvals. But I did check them out and that's the basis for my comments.

    Now if you want to talk about their pricing, that's a completely different subject. But if you have any experience with grading, you can't complain about Littletons grades, IMO. I think that @jessvc just has sour grapes with the approval program.

    BTW, I'm no fan of the Littleton business model, but if you're going to be critical, at least be accurate and not make stuff up
