Little mystery!

    I got this coin a while back for quite cheap, but have been struggling to identify it! If you have any ideas, let me know! I feel like I can almost make out a griffin or stylized head, but who knows ‍♂️.

    Well, it looks Achaemenid. Maybe 1/32nd siglos? Obverse king's head; reverse incuse punch. The portrait looks like a king, but not of a style I'm familiar with. I see long hair falling behind his head, and a spike crown.

    I think you are totally right! Looks quite similar to this one:

    Plus, the incuse punch seems to match the Persian coins. Never even considered that it could be Persian! Guess my mind is stuck in Greece lol.
