I want that type Great coin, I saw it a short while ago and it really is a nice example. A very nice life time issue, still need one of those. A lifetime issue Alexander must be in every Greek collection. Wow, I can't stop looking It is absolutely great and I hope to get a tetradrachm from Samos sometime in my collection life. Very nice coins! The last one is great, small but sharp.
Great call my man, Rhegion! Sorry, I meant to go back and fill in the missing IDs (this is why you shouldn't work and CT at the same time). I also updated their identifications above
Great collection of scalps, @Pavlos. I really love your Samos drachm, where the lion appears to be smiling, though I've no idea what it actually has to smile about! LYCIA, Dynasts of. Mithrapata AR Sixth Stater (Diobol). 1.4g, 13.7mm. LYCIA, Uncertain mint, circa 390-370 BC. CNG E-398, lot 291 (otherwise unpublished). O: Lion scalp facing. Don't have any lion scalp coins to share, but these look fantastic. Will have to keep an eye out to purchase one at some point.
If you are keeping an eye out for one of these, this is a good time. An enormously huge hoard of Lycian lion scalps was dispersed over the last three years or so. Therefore, these are still quite easy to find for little money. Dynasts of Lycia, Perikles, AR 1/3 stater, ca. 380–360 BC: Obv: Lion scalp facing.
