    At least it's not pink. :D The date on the coin is actually the last year of that country - in October 1866 Prussia annexed the kingdom of Hannover. Interesting side note: The two holders represent England (lion) and Scotland (unicorn) even though the personal union had ended in 1837 ...

    Well, as I wrote, the country that issued them ceased to exist a few months after this coin was made. But since that is basically the Scottish unicorn anyway, it lives on here for example ...
