West getting a lot of snow at the moment. Record lows in Seattle. Just bumping this thread up before it gets lost. Still well over a month to get your guesses in. :)

    BUMP!!!!!!!!!
18 more days. I'd really like some more entries!! The more entries the better the prize!!

Into a much more active cold pattern. No snow here yet (even though it snowed ALL DAY yesterday but the wind kept it from sticking). Hoping though. Currently 13.3º and falling. With wind.

Central park got something like 20 inches. I predicted 28 inches for the year. Interesting!

Edit add: Seattle with 24 inches? What was I thinking?

For the city, this storm left one heck of a lot of snow in the side streets. I encountered many buried streets where taxis, buses, cars, emergency vehicles and private ambulettes were left in the middle of road ways and subsequently they were drifted over. All day dry snow was being hurled through the air by gusts lifting shoveled loose snow and snow blower plumes in vortex like clouds spiraling all about. Many neighborhood streets were so heavily blocked with snow they hadn't even been touched by the city by late afternoon. The city was full of many stunning snow scenes reducing the normal active pace of life to a quiet labor force of neighbors tasked with clean up while kids played here and there.
