Yeah. It is a circle. Or, in NHC terms, a we don't really know whats going to happen so we're going to give up and draw a circle. lol
Actually, I doubt the circle scenario, but it could definately meander around down there for a while.
And for those who are having a hard time picturing this in their head:

I see that they have updated it since I posted the circle. That was actually what they had on the map. The only liberty I took with it was that E,.... should have bee E, E,.....

BTW, you do realize that the Georgetown I guessed is not around DC. It is in the Cayman Islands.

This is what we had with TS Lisa. It ended up going crazy (like one of my exes :p) and heading off towards Africa. Then moving back towards the US and almost reforming into a TS before heading towards the UK. That was a funny storm to watch.

GUESSING OPEN UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. THEN CLOSED FOR GOOD.
Voting is reopened but will close at midnight tonight and stay that way (unless something freak-ish happens). Get your guess in NOW if you want to be eligible for the prize (state pennies and some silver).
    Thanks,
    Tyler

First landfall. Interesting to see if it goes out over water again. I doubt it but its possible with the rugged shape of Cuba's coast.
...CENTER OF PAULA NEAR PUERTO ESPERANZA ON THE NORTH COAST OF PINAR DEL RIO PROVINCE CUBA...

I knew it! I guessed Havana, Cuba (northern Cuba)!!! I hope it hits there!

What we have is a very sticky situation. The storm is expected to go back over water (well over water) and make another landfall as a depression, then head back into the Carribean as a depression. There is another low pressure system in the extreme southern Carribean that is due to head north in a couple days. These could merge and who knows what it would be named. Or, they could both develop (or redevelop) seperately. I'll keep y'all updated on whats expected. This contest could get interesting.........
Oh, and Coinmaster: the storm was 25 miles east of Havana, Cuba per the last advisory. Idk where the actual landfall was yet. Checking on that as we speak.

Tropical Depression Paula is moving back over water (barely). Current wind speed is at 25 MPH (the wind is blowing stronger than that outside here) and it will likely be disipated at the 2 PM advisory. So the first (and only) landfall was at Playa el Morrillo, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, (app. 50 miles ESE of Havanna as a strong Tropical Storm. I will begin running through everyone's guess and post a winner by noon tomorrow (I hope).

Ok, so here's what we have: landfall came yesterday: October 14, 2010. Category was tropical storm. Location was Playa el Morrillo, Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Price of silver was around $24.50 (somebody PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong and I will re-do this because I had no computer access until I posted that landfall report. And then I was only on long enought to do that.) So here's the final tallies. Duke, you were after official close (by 57 minutes). Sorry. :/ Otherwise you would have won it.
