Hi PamR. Look, to add some clarity to the whole WAM vs. CAM thing, the mint made 8 reverse types over the memorial cent series, listed here: http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%202/Memorial%20Reverse%20Design%20Varieties.htm the 1992 is supposed to be RDV-006. Some were Struck with RDV-007, the "close AM" reverse. in 1998-1999-2000, the cents were supposed to be struck with RDV-007, instead they were struck with RDV-006. Why this happened for the 1998-1999-2000? Because they were using RDV-006 for the S mint proof cents and got the dies mixed up at philly, it's also why there are CAM (RDV-006) proof cents in 1998 and 1999 that were supposed to be WAM (RDV-007), shipped some wrong dies to San Fran. Hopefully this explains and clarifies what they are, and how they came to be. the 1992 was a transitional year, and they transitioned to the new dies of the following year somehow early in a limited quantity. so there are 1992 CAM (RDV-007). take a look at the page linked, and hopefully it triggers the "aha! moment". :) best of luck to you!
