Another end roll survivor, it's hard to find these with either side decent. I discard at least 95% of end rolls because they are just toast.
This is one of the most unusual coins I have, a 60's "woody". I think I found this searching regular bank rolls. It looks to be mint state?
Are any of these ‘65’s an SMS? (Spoiler alert for those new to the series. No proofs were struck in 65, 66, or 67. Special Mint Set coins filled the gap between business strikes and proofs. From my observation, they often seem to be struck with the care used for proofs, but without specially preparing and polishing the planchets. This leaves the fields not quite as mirror-like as an actual proof. I will be posting some in the next week or so.)
