oh! @Oldhoopster !! Of course...silly me! The 2x2. No wonder I can't see the coin well. That sure makes me feel a whole bunch better about my peepers! Yikes.

I see no sign of Liberty across Lincolns forehead. I do see his hair worn down and with a little imagination I can see a large shape of LIB. Only wear gives it a deep appearance.

Take it out of the 2 x 2 and watch those staples so as not to scratch the coin. Take and post new photos as the overall appearance of the coin will be easier to view.

 

here are two more pictures with out the 2x2 by the way the face doesn't look like Lincoln almost like a monster lol it looks very clear to me the nose touches lincolns shoulder
