I&#039;m sure there are some auctioneers that specialize in buying entire collections for disposing.&nbsp; I know there are some major coin companies that would surely provide this service.&nbsp; Not quite there yet but something that needs some thought and preparation... as you so aptly put it, we all have that one-way ticket and eventually will have to use it. </p><p><br /></p><p>I look back on a scene that took place when I was around 11-years old when my grandmother passed away.&nbsp; Her two children, my dad and his sister, gathered everyone around her old trunk where she kept her special personal items.&nbsp; Among them were several old coins.&nbsp; I remember there were several large Silver dollars and a lot of smaller coins.&nbsp; Dad and Auntie each divided the large coins between the two; then they took the remainder of the smaller coins and divided them among all the grandchildren.&nbsp; Being kids and it being Saturday, We all immediately went downtown, took in a movie, and wasted those old coins on whatever toys, candy, pop, etc. that we wanted. In my coin collection,&nbsp; I have the coins my Dad took that day; They were [4]1880&#039;s and 90&#039;s Morgan Dollars, the best one being an 1896-O, plus [3] Liberty Peace Dollars 1922-s and p, and a 1923-s that is AU grade.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>I do not want to see a repetition of that event when it is time for me to call it quits with my coin hobby.&nbsp; Jerry[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
