They aren&#039;t trying to replace u.s. dollars or put the mint/BEP out of a job. They&#039;re trying to raise awareness for their political aim of ending the Federal Reserve Act, which ended our currency being based on silver and established a strictly fiat-based system. I don&#039;t think they&#039;ll succeed in successfully changing the government&#039;s mind, (the bep/mint makes too much profit to back out now), but I don&#039;t think returning the dollar to silver is such a bad idea for everyday consumers. People label NORFED as anti-government, but I disagree.
