They could also say the same thing about coupons if they wanted to for they are "<i>in lieu of lawful money of the United States" </i>too. But they don't, and they don't because they (the govt) knows that the wooden nickels, and the coupons, and the so called dollars, and the tokens, etc are merely being used as discount medium by the merchants and companies distributing them.</p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>I do not disagree.
