I followed the auction on-line and I agree with TIF - no problems, plenty of nice material, and overall reasonable prices. I was intrigued though by a couple of denarii which reached bids in excess of 1000 and even 2500 francs in spite of low estimates in the region of 50 to 100 francs. I am sure some of you noticed that as well. I got my invoice as well via e-mail promptly today, so that was quicker than usual from other auction houses. Instead of paying via CC/Stripe (2,9%) or PayPal (4 %), I was able to transfer the funds on-line (no extra fees from Leu). Now I just hope that when the package hits german customs I can convince the customs agent that import duty on ancient coins is 7% rather than 19%. An additional 19% would really ruin the fun.....
