Do US coins, especially Morgan dollars, get excessive wear on the obverse left in front of Liberty's face caused by relief design or is that usually a obsessive compulsive aggressive disorder to clean a coin on the port side of the face? It always amazes me how the rest of a MS coin is so clean yet the field in front of Lady Liberty's face usually has so much mischief going on. Natural light circulation wear or my original premise?
