i hope this isnt only for US coins. everyone here knows that a loonie isnt nice and round right??? well think again. i was hoping to find a thread like this ever since i went to the auto wreckers. someone had removed the center console trim, and didnt notice this loonie between the parking brake handle, and the bracket that holds it to the floor. that e brake got lots and lots of use. it actually stretched this coin a little larger than a regular loonie. kinda like reverse spooning or dryer coin. it also made it concave. lol.
1868 Shield Nickel.. It's a keeper for my 7070.. This coin belonged to my grand mother who passed away about 13 years ago. It's the only thing that I have from her..
Here are two I don't have to spend too much time searching for. I got the buffalo nickel in a bag of cull / no date buffalo nickels and they only cost about 10 cents each. I bought the Franklin at a flea market a couple months ago for $3. Who in their right mind takes a power tool to their coins?!?
I would have posted a picture of half of a wheat cent I found metal detecting, but then I took and arrow to the knee. And also my computer is horrible.
