Is there a trick to it? A certain time of day to look?

Lets just say I spend probably 2-3 hours searching a day.
Deals can be put up any time and you have to be "FAST".
    I've missed countless items :(

To me the extra hours 3-4 times a week is worth it to me, if I want money I'll try and make it.
I just started doing this about a month ago to help generate some additional income.

How often do you find stuff?

Looking at the purchase dates normally 1-2 things a week if not more, I buy other stuff but not sure if they're always good deals until I try and resell them.

Like these, I'm not sure if they were a good buy or a great buy, I see a buy it now went for $159 or something but someone must have been desperate to pay that for (1) Binion coin.

Smokin' deal on that Long Island Commem. On a "normal" day on ebay, it's easily a $100-150 coin in that condition.

I must know. How are 3 1966 circulated quarters a good deal for $6.99? Am I missing something on that one?

I will sell you a truck load of 1966 quarters for $1 a piece!

I hear that, not a great deal.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of the buys are from sellers who are selling other stuff. Perhaps coins are not their forte.

Lol I've made 2 mistakes for purchasing 1965 quarters :rollling:

On the last one I got (2) for $37 shipped little below melt, I wanted them since they are toned.

Ended up selling the same day I picked it up at the post office for $90.
Seemed as if they were going for $70-110 when I listed it.

    Zach,
Out of curiosity how many items do you generally bid on daily?

As of lately to many :hail: I'm trying to look for more items that I can resell for at least 30-50% profit or if its something I can get cheap and add it to my collection I'll buy it. Just trying to make some money to help pay my monthly school bill.

I'd say I probably doubled my coin knowledge in about a months time of doing this. It keeps me occupied and I enjoy doing it.

I should have purchased this but I'm not to familiar with wheat prices

Heh. I was about to say "you must spend a lot more time at it than I do" -- I generally can't spare more than half an hour or so a day, and that's often at the peak times (evenings) when it's nearly impossible to outrun everybody else.

Here are a few recent hits, though:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/150872826378?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (she threw in an extra, a total of 4 WLHs for $24)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/200797685331?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (my favorite -- several of these had nice ring toning, and all but one or two were uncirculated, a couple pretty clean)
