He said it was once a brothel, speakeasy and a place where Chicago gangsters in the 30s were known to vacation and hang out.

The owner called me about looking for a lost ring that was originally his father’s and then he wore it but lost it. He asked me how much I charge to look and I told him nothing. I never charge but I do ask permission to hunt the whole property and allowed to keep anything else I found. He then told me he had paid 2 guys $150 to search and they claimed they found nothing. I told him I didn’t care and he agreed to my terms.

Well I believe those 2 guys never went there. I immediately started finding coins. Memorials, wheats, Barber dimes, another silver Washington and a ‘53 Franklin. I searched the place over 3 days and the last day I found his ring.
