    few more grabs
Dansco for the merc, starting a short date Jefferson that I'm slowly going through. Bought the 66 star sight unseen, was hoping for color, but the golden tone is nice and the luster is a killer.

A 66 * Jefferson nickel. That is interesting.

image.png image.jpeg image.jpeg Today my friends it is official. I have totally gone nuts and out of control. Buying this coin on the fly without ever considering it and making a 5 second decision was a blast. Me the only bidder. Trust me I'm not bragging but crying inside for what could I have bought for $105 . Why is it when you need the house to bid they never do

No key dates that I'm aware of yet and the oldest dime (1877) is paper thin but finding them creates numismatic value for me! Picked up a buffalo nickel with a strong date 1936 (rare for me), two barbers, four merc's, and six rosie's plus a 1943 war nickel.

Besides a couple of pockets full of clad and some wheaties, this represents a solid three days of dirt fishing. Unless I find a key date, I probably could have purchased them all for less than the cost of gas but where's the fun in that? image.jpeg
