Did NGC not label the cracked planchet by accident, or is that something that has to be specified when purchasing their service?
The newest edition to the "NSP Well Traveled (read: lower grade) Bust Quarter Collection" arrived recently! It's an 1821 Browning-3, Rarity 2 or 3, depending on which website I look on. It's graded G06 by NGC.
The price and style look like mid sixties. But watch out for formaldehyde induced spotting common in the early plastic flips. But it looks good. Perhaps it was kept in a low moisture environment.
