My newest addition was not bought but dug last week while digging a civil war camp in lower South Carolina...a very nice 1794 LC.
The seller photos don't do this 1921 D Morgan justice. It's very nice in hand. The toning is quite pleasing actually. Keep in mind the scratches are on the capsule. I'll post a pic of it out of the capsule when i get more time.
Great Trime! Here is a upgrade I got at ANA to a old slot filler I had of a very scarce coin of a Roman empress that didn't last very long due to a nut job husband. Aquilia Severa (220-221 & 221-222 A.D.) AR Denarius O: IVLIA AQUILIA SEVERA AVG, Draped bust right. R: CONCORDIA, Concordia standing facing, head left, holding double cornucopia and sacrificing with patera over altar to left; star to right. Rome Mint 19mm 3.02g RIC IV(part 2), pg 47, #226 (Elagabalus)
She was for marrying the guy. Thanks Another great coin, Huge. I parted with several u.s. coins but kept my seated dollar in VF range.
Please forgive me but this is the first time I've found something older and worth over $5. I found 40 of these unopened and signed in Al Hirts old desk in a drawer I bought a while back in the French Quarter. If I hold for 40 years they could pay for the desk . I love Jazz.
