After buying my first Saint last week, this one followed me home yesterday to join it.

 

This arrived in the mail today. I have wanted a club rays Fugio for a while, but finding one with decent detail and no major planchet issues was a challenge. It's tough to photograph a coin with low relief and minimal contrast.

I should have started a GTG thread, but these things are tough to evaluate from photos.

 

Oddly, I think the photo in the Bowers Colonial book for the obv. 4 is wrong. The O in YOUR is in the wrong position over the first S in BUSINESS.
I really like this coin for the fairly even, if not great strike, the nice planchet and original surfaces. From David Kahn, who has a sharp eye for nice merchandise.

 

Here's my first copper coin (MS63 BN). I have never been a fan of copper coins, but lately I'm beginning to get interested in chocolate colored large cents.

 

That's a really nice looking large cent! Pretty soon you'll be wanting more...
