That's a very interesting Morgan. I do not believe I've ever heard or seen one like this. Either way, nice coin!

In that ballpark I couldn't even afford a hot dog.
Which reminds me......last week I did a event where we gave away free hot dogs all day. Our brand and our mustard ' s . Had a person ask for ketchup ....... I told the person my father didn't fight in WWII to allow you to put ketchup up on a hot dog........ Gee the nerve of some peopleo_O

Searched and sought as a young man. Gave up as an adult. The reality of never finding one in the 'wild' has become unseemingly true. Short arms and deep pockets for me as well........

Pffft, who needs that 1943 cent?! I just got three of 'em that are all older than that one! Lol

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Only twelve more open spots in my album!

By the way, if any of y'all happen to acquire that 1943 a few posts up, I'd be happy to trade you for one of these three that are older. :D

Picked up 5 Jefferson nickels last Friday. These were the only two worth taking pics of. The other three were a nice 64 and a 99 P and 2000 D with similar but not quite as nice toning as the 2000 P

Great looking coin!! Just wondering, does it have Deller's Coin Darkener on the obverse?

I don't believe so. DD is almost always used on circulated coinage, and practically removes any luster from an uncirculated coin.

Yes they've grown on me and I figured why not as it's not that bad a set to complete. I started with the keys to work my way backwards making it easier as I go along. I'm going for anywhere between XF-AU for the set which should allow me to upgrade some later on also. Here's a few more I took pictures of.
