nice, but.. don't you hate it when the seller puts those stickers on the back! often they can't be removed without damaging the hologram.
Hugh, Now I know who I am bidding against all the time. I hope you let me have some along the way. I liked that 1901S as well.
Thanks for all the offers fellas but I think Ill stay single for a while longer. i mention the two 1893-s in 55 one posted a little earlier is NGC and toned this is the PCGS. which one would you keep and which do you want invest in?
Well its worth mentioning that I have a strong back (not so much a weak mind though) and would be quite willing to pull my weight around the ol Ponderosa, just saying, I have a leg up on some of these 'old geezers' throwing their names at ya.....im looking at you greenie-poo In all seriousness though Hugh, what an awesome collection you are working on and your caliber of collecting is what many of us aspire to be able to do some day, I know seeing your coins inspire me to become a better person and further my professional life so that one day I can obtain a similar caliber collection and elevate my numismatic status. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your collection
Maybe someday I'll have coins like that. I can keep trading up But no longer being single may affect things. My girlfriend has very good and very expensive taste. Her love and taste in jewelry is very comparable to mine in coins. And we both have a lot of each
Here is the 1922 Peace Dollar I just got. I think the reverse looks much better than the obverse. Don't know quite what's going on in the fields, I can't tell if it's verdigris or just bad toning.
