I bought this one last week and am kind'a pleased with it. Came from a big 10k+ feedback seller on eBay, so I'm not sure why it isn't slabbed. It looks like an MS-62, but the 2 scratches on the obverse (which are exaggerated in my photos), probably kept it to a details grade. I'm going to be sending some into PCGS this week, might include it and hope for a friendly grader :)

Oooops, here is another one that came in the mail on the same day. Bought it for a jaw dropping price of $11.04 including postage. 1 of only 2 counterstamped coins in my collection now.

I found one of these at the last coin show I attended. I passed it up because the dealer wanted $250 for it because it was in mint condition. The guy selling it told me they were originally sold $75 when published in the 1980's. My school library had a copy of this book the last time I checked about 16 years ago.

1934 Lincoln Cent (PCGS MS65RB). I bought this as a raw coin off eBay for $65, sometimes a great deal just falls into your lap. Well, at least I love it. This is just a "Nuclear Meltdown" coin.

Yea the other ones I've seen have sold for at least $85. Says a few stains on the back cover but that's fine with me. It won't be leaving my bookshelf. But $250 is crazy. It's really amazing they don't republish these books.

I'd definitely take a used copy for about $85 to $100 before throwing over two hundred dollars at a mint copy. I just want it for reading material on numismatics. I'm guess they won't print anymore because Breen is dead or his family won't give permission. If they did make more copies we would probably have to pay around $100 for one unless they make paper backs.

I have wanted a full beard Geta for sometime. Finally got one pretty cheap about a month ago.

They tend to be fairly scarce since he was murdered by his brother the same year this was made.

The reverse ends legend with "AUG V". The 'V' stands for the number of times donatives had been given at the time of the minting. "Liberalitas" signifies generosity.

    The medal isn't new but the slab is. It's 3-1/2wide x 41/2 high 45mm Norfolk & Western Class J No. 611 IN SLABjpg.jpg

I think these will look much better when I take them out of the 2x2's.

10x Magnifying glass from China on eBay $ 3.38 w/ Free shipping.
Only took 3 & 1/2 weeks to get here. But I think it is just the
    right size for coins.

I stopped by a shop that I had not been to
in about 4 years. It actually isn't far
from me but it is small. I walked out with
a new toy. I was actually watching an almost
identical coin on eBay this weekend that sold
for $66 but it was only PCGS PF66 RB and had
    some spots/streaks/distractions.

This example has fewer distractions and I paid
considerably less than the above mentioned example.
I think that's a win! I spent way too much time
on the photography tonight as I have had a
plethora of challenges with the photography of
proof toners through slabs recently and think I
figured a few things out and did a little better
on this one. Still far from perfect...
