1965 SMS Lincoln Cent (PCGS SP66RB). This is about as stunningly beautiful as this first year SMS Lincoln comes. Somehow the toning reminds me of a candy apple. Some elevation chromatics is evident, especially in the folds of Lincoln's jacket. Elevation chromatics is very rare in the Lincoln Cent series. When you combine a spot-free, pristine surface -- with killer neon color like this, you have a five star toner. They just don't come much better, especially late in this series.
That is gorgeous, I have yet to find any toned SMS Lincolns for my set that I am working on. Between you and Robec you guys seem to take my breath away everytime you two post a toned Lincoln. Keep em coming at least I can see your coins and continue to search for my missing coins
A few new Washington Quarters from one of our own on ebay, a 1953, 1964, and 1964-D. I love the toning...
I've been buying some silver commemorative dollars lately, these two stood out to me... the 2002 West Point Bicentennial dollar and the 2012 Star Spangled Banner dollar
Stunning additions everyone! As for me, well, this came in the mail today. But more importantly....I didn't know y'all were using photoscape for editing!!! I always wondered how so many CT'ers had mirrored the image at the bottom, very cool! So this gets to be my first proper edit
1893-O I just got, not sure if the toning is legitimate or not given the lines which appear to have come from cleaning.
Yeah it's been involved with some type of cleaning up. But could come out as being pocket rubbing where someone who kept as a lucky coin or someone tried to polish it. Damaged in TPG eyes But still one nice hard date 1893-O Morgan dollar.
