Nothing flashy, just a modest upgrade here. My old large cent type coin was an 1854 with a big gash in the rim :-O

I just picked this up on the bay.. Same seller as the '09 V.D.B. I posted earlier.
The coloring and the die clashes is what drew me in on this one. And this is my first Indian Head Cent. I figured it would be a nice follow up to the Lincoln.

1928 Lincoln Cent (PCGS MS65RD OGH). I don't buy red (RD) Lincoln Cents very often, but this one had outstanding luster and looked very original and mellowed enough to show some nice red to orange to gold color variation. The hammered strike added to it's appeal. I love all the detail in Lincoln's hair. It's interesting this was minted in the economic boom year of 1928, just before the big crash of 1929.

Dupont Circle, Washington DC in 1928. What an era!

This is a PCGS Old Green Label coin, so I think that means it was slabbed perhaps 15 years ago, or so?

@Paddy54 Are all those varieties listed in the "A Guide Book of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents"? What would you estimate the value on this one? I paid $40.00 for it. Just curious.

I think this is a Generation 4 label from 1990-95, making it 20-25 years old.

What is the non face value of this bill? I see the Star, however, based on its condition, how much is it worth aside from its face value?

Not sure of the value. I keep all low print runs under 640k. I now have all sorts of denominations, years, and districts. If I can make money on them great if not I use them for my next coin purchase. I have not lost money yet and have found each one at face. It also keeps me off the streets.

Here are my latest acquisitions at face value.. I picked up the $50 today at the bank while dumping my Nickels from yesterday's coin roll hunting. The Nickels are what I found yesterday going through the rolls I hunted.
