Very nice additions, Paul-62....High grade Silver Quarters and a Silver Proof Kennedy---but I seem to see finger print smudges on the proof and those oils can eat right into the coins surface...ruining the proofs' 'natural' gem-like appearance.
Here is an ancient I have had for a month now. Just getting around to sharing it. For sure my best didrachm with Mt. Argaeus. Caesarea, Cappadocia AR Didrachm O: AYTOKR OYHPOC CEBACTOC Bare-headed and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. R: YPA TOS B ,Mt. Argaeus surmounted by Helios standing left. Struck 161-166 A.D. (as COS II) Caesarea, Cappadocia Mint 6.3g 20mm Metcalf, Caesarea 131d; Sydenham, Caesarea
Nice additions, @Paul_62. That 1951 is really well struck. Looks like at least an MS66 to me, and likely an MS67.
The coins aren't newps but the folder is. I had a bunch of 1960 and earlier Jeffies laying around from CRHing, so today I figured I'd go get the 38-61 Whitman and see how much I could fill in. I think it's a pretty good start. I decided to insert all the Denver and San Fran coins with the reverse showing since the MM is on that side.
I just received a few 'common' high grade modern late dates and I already had a few early examples for my replacement 'Type Collection' but nothing extraordinary for the 'newest acquisitions'.........except a few budget examples of scarcer type 'Ancients': Antonia-daughter of Mark Anthony; Drusus-son of Tiberius; and Hostilian and Macrianus-late Roman caesars and emperors....a continuing effort on my part to complete an old Roman Emperor portrait collection.
Two early examples I purchased to complete a decent 'Type Collection'...Flowing Hair Dollar and an early half....with a few more on my 'want list'...
