I'm going try to get the 5 nz Saratoga Springs N.Y state parks .
I spent all my Memorial day weekend at the Free Music concert Beach Boys was always one of bands that opener of the Saratoga Springs natural in ground Amphitheater concert series. Two days music String Quartet to Rock and Roll. One weekend long parties.
I never missed a party back then

 

I love the older ANACS slabs I buy them every chance I find one that has a coin that fits my collection

 

1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar (my first of this type)

 

Good grief that is pretty. Is the reverse as such?

 

Great looking Bust half Set's can be addictive.

Here are both sides. This coin has great color transition, relatively smooth for two-sided, colorfully-toned Proof copper. PCGS did a nice job capturing the colors in the out-of-the-slab TrueView photo, but didn't catch enough of the glossy mirror, which is quite spectacular on this coin. (My full-slab iPhone photo (above) did a nicer job capturing the killer mirror).

I do think PCGS should have put a Brown (BN) designation on this one (instead of RB) as I don't see any original, freshly-minted, copper color. The color on the lower left is more of a mellowed peach -- and the reverse is mostly pink. So this is more of a PR68BN, instead of RB (IMHO).

 

I love the golden halo that surrounds her.

Nice coin. Interesting toning pattern. Looks like album, I don't notice too many album toned Morgans.

 

It does look like an album, miss those days.
