You need to pay special attention to the mintmark. Those two quarters are notorious for having "grown" a mintmark after having been released from the Philadelphia Mint!

I had been waiting to have a 1921 Standing Liberty Quarter for some time so when I had the opportunity, I had to snatch it up. :thumb:

I will definitely be careful. I don't want to buy a coin that is already slabbed, but I also don't want to buy a fake. I will be extra careful about who I buy from for sure. Some one reputable and trustworthy. I like Dave's DCW down in San Diego...but who do you trust / suggest?

I just aquired this, but my grandfather found it MANY years ago.
Anyone care to make a guess as to the last digit of the date?

It has been a while since I had anything new to add to this thread. Today at a local coin show I saw this Walker I missed on the first day of the show on Friday. My buddy Jim sold it to me for a fair price but I still had to step up to this one to bring it home. It is graded MS 66* and has what appears to be full mint bloom, which I can never pass up when it surfaces. I wish I could let you all hold this one under a good lightbulb, you almost need shades!
