Bought the entire 2006-S Proof Set for $100 last year from a dealer. Two of the coins had monster toning.
Yep, I picked it up from Modern Coin Marts ebay store when they put it on sale. I watched it fall from like $179.99 to $149.99 to $99.99 where I bought it at. It is an SP-69 and it should have full steps. I was disappointed I didnt get the slightly gold toned one from the picture, but they had a small stock available.

Jello looking at it now and I must admit I missed that before the second 8 looks different if you compare the loops. The second 8 the top loop looks more oval like the bottom loops of the first and last. However it just maybe the way the date placement is on the coin.

I Got my secret Santa gift yesterday. May cause some new collecting interest as i find these fascinating
$2 face of junk silver today for $14.90x Dimes: 1906-D 1916 1930 1934-D 1946 Quarters: 1930-S 1936 1939 1945 Half: 1961
Added the lower right coin. Really low grade, but still same type variety as the others. Now I need a nicer 1868 and the really elusive 1869 one. PS - added an old rattler Morgan also.
Here mine it's almost like this was a gift. And all I paid was shipping. also the 1941 New Zealand half penny but 1942 is the high value one.
received this crazy looking thing today. some weird color and a mark on her face but I like her. NGC used this coin as the variety plus diagnostic image for the O-103 variety. http://www.ngccoin.com/coin-varieti...ar-die-varieties-part-iii/1831-50c-o-103-2935 my images
