I've posted a couple of these in other threads already, but here are my coin purchases from today: 1983 Proof Silver Olympics Commemorative: 1988 90% Silver Astronaut Coin (Came w/ Orig. box and COA): 1989 Proof Congress Commemorative (Came w/ Orig. box and COA): 1996 Double Strike Error: 1841 "Not One Cent" Hard Times Token (My first!): 1951 Colorized Franklin Half Dollar (I'm don't normally buy things like this, but at ~40¢ over its silver melt value I couldn't refuse): 1793 Duit Coin: 1964 Toned Kennedy Half Dollar:
Just arrived today from eBay: I don't normally buy foreign coins, but I made an exception since this seems to be a good time to buy silver and the price was right. I'm happy I did though, especially after seeing it in hand
Sent this one in with a few others as a tag along to round out the order. I was in love with it at the time as I found it CRH and love the honest wear. On a clad to boot! It must have Rode in a pocket for a loooong time. Now I'm sorta over it and hate I have the grading fee in it......... But it is the lowest NGC example of that coin.. That's Gotta count for something right?
Is it a problem that I don't know if this is my 2nd or 3rd of this style peso? Need to acetone this one and get the haze off the reverse and after taking the pic noticed I needed to flatten the staples which is done now. Sorry for the run on sentence.
