When it comes to my 1959-Date NGC circulation issued Lincoln cent registry set there are not many upgrades available. Whenever the new years issue comes out I try to add one of the top grades and anytime an upgrade comes along I will try an pick it up. Two new additions. NGC has graded approximately 417 examples of the 1996 D Lincoln Memorial with 89 graded at MS68RD and this 1 example graded at MS68RD Proof like and none graded higher. NGC has graded approximately 584 examples of the 2014 Shield cent with only 4 being graded MS69RD
I've dug out the coin photo gear tonight, so stay tuned for more pics of some great NEWPS. Here is the first one, just arrived today from Bozarth Numismatics. I've said it before, I'll say it again. If you haven't spoken with a member of Bozarth Num, you are doing yourself a real disservice. A top tier coin dealer.
You may remember that I thought there was only Two types for SLQ, but was corrected by @mainer020648 over a beer one night. Well, here is my fix:
geekpryde; Your piggy bank must be a lot lighter after all those were purchased. You put a serious dent in CAC's sticker supply. :>)
Yeah, this is like a months worth of purchases saved up to photograph all at once. And I had to sell a cherry pick of mine to make it all happen. Dead-broke now, and back on a hiatus.
One more NEWP from today, but not CAC, and not my photo! Still going in my Type set, as there are a few non-CAC series I'm including. Click here to see My Type Set list if you're curious as to the exceptions.
