1992- Today I often wonder why US mint didn't put the mint marks on silver proofs on the the reverses .but do know that would mean more die to manufacture. But clad proofs wouldn't be grade with silver as the mint mark would tell if a Tpg was wrong.
Won a real nice green sticker from Great Collections tonight for a fair price: Oh, and the coin is nice too. 1854 50C HALF DOLLAR - SEATED LIBERTY, NO MOTTO ARROWS PCGS VF35 27876489 CAC
Hey everybody... Im ending the weekend on a high note. Just got this from David Lawrence at a very fair price.... Ill only have this one pic for now.
This is a decent coin that bought a little time ago! I am going to have to send it in for grading and authentication just to satisfy my mind because I got it for a ridiculously low price that makes me wonder if it's the real deal. The weight, thickness and size is correct. Tell me what you think.
1853-P Seated dollars has a semi high mintage But 1853-O hole different price range price wise. if you have it graded send to Anacs 1 there 5 -10 for $15.00+Free return shipping specials. don't waste a lot money on a coin that could have issues .
Cool looking coins everyone!! Here are the 1952 PDS Washingtons for my toner 1940 - 1964 Washington Dansco album. I've posted 2 P mint Washies as I'm not sure which one I'll use. One of the nice things about putting together this set is that most of the coins are fairly inexpensive, so I can buy multiple examples that catch my fancy. Of course, once you get multiple examples, then you get another Dansco album to put your backups in. I like both P mints, they're just different. Any thoughts as to which one you prefer? The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.
Love when the postman shows up with new coins. Nothing special. 1977 S and 79 S type 2 NGC PF69RDUC Lincoln Memorials
Since CAC currently will only accept 4 examples of the modern date Linclon cents in the mint state category it is the only modern date one I have in my collection that has received the green sticker. It is not a recent addition but I do not think I have shown it here before. Got the coin for just under $900 when I bought it. Thanks too robecsimages for the great pictures. This coin was not CAC certified when I bought it
I know I'm still many many upgrades away from quality on this coin, but, I just couldn't resist the color and look.
Been on the wagon for awhile but the wagon hit a pot hole, I fell and landed on this. Fairly rare piece due to the legends of the obverse & reverse. Julia Domna (194 - 217 A.D.) MACEDON, Stobi Æ23 Obverse: VGVSTA IVLIA A, Bust draped, right. Reverse: MVNICIP STOBENS, Nike advancing right with wreath and palm. 23mm 6g Josifovski -, Unlisted die pair (V20, R unlisted?) Reverse die almost certainly part of Caracalla's V29, V32, V64, V11, V109, V119 emission. This emission includes many near identical reverses with this legend.
I picked this up a few days ago. I don't collect the 2009 pennies that I find in circulation but I wanted a proof set. These coins are gorgeous. I apologize for the quality of the photo.
