Picked this up over the weekend. I also rearranged/organized my photobucket so now all my old pictures on this site are toast. Oh well, at least I can find my pictures much easier than before.
Great coins everyone! Wow, that is a stunning piece of gold! I picked this one up a couple days ago. Not a fan of raw proofs, but the price was right and I have a shipment going off to PCGS next week so I'll throw it in and see if it can get a numeric grade.
And this one... Barely worth posting since I can't get a good shot of the tonning for anything. The sky blue section is my favorite, but it disappears when the cranberry red is showing, and that disappears when the green....etc. LOL
Bought this without seeing in hand It'll be fine in my Morgan proof Set. Need a few more hint hint...
Some Great looking pickups everyone! I particularly like the wildlife medal, the quarter eagle, the 1885 proof Morgan and the 1849 proof SL dollar. Very good stuff!!! Here are the 1941 PDS Washingtons for my toner Dansco. Finding decently toned Washingtons from the early 1940's is tough. I would eventually like to upgrade the P & D to BU, but I'm happy with the ones I currently have. The images were done by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.
Also won this over the weekend. A low pop O mint DPL. Should have it in hand later this week. A little gold toning on the rims.
Hugh Stiel, you need to spend some money on proper pics from @robec or maybe @blu62vette. Not a complaint, just a friendly suggestion. Your coins deserve the best!
I keep telling myself that I'm going to get this done as well. The caveat is: when I'm done buying coins for the year...yeah right. I think I've reached that point though this year. I'm sure my coins will look a lot better when captured by a true coin artist.
