Thought it would be fun/entertaining to make a composite image out of PCGS TrueView photos from some of my more colorful coins except scaled to correct relative size.

Question on the 1837 coin. Any idea what is causing the lean of the letter "O" in the word "one" on the reverse? It looks a little strange. Maybe the camera lens wasn't square to the Coin?

You should post this in the Latest Exonumia thread.

Just the way it is punched - to me the letters in one cent routinely look crooked on them. The only time I pay attention to that is when one of my books describes a leaning letter or number. As it is here is another http://www.largecents.net/consign/td_1837n3_2.jpg from Tom Deck. I got both of these thru Tom. The 1824 is just great.

It's Bust Half week! Very nice coins everyone :)
Here's a couple purchases that just came in for me:

Yes, I'm afraid the SLQ has been cleaned, but the bright white surface actually is a nicer contrast to the others than I expected. The Jefferson is pretty fun and reminds me of a beautiful sunrise/set.

I'm not a fan of cleaned coins but I don't think it would stop me from purchasing your standing liberty. It is a real eye catcher. Excellent sharp detail. Great photographs as well.

I think that may be the best looking FH - SLQ observe, I have ever seen!
Other than the fact that it is blast white, what are you looking at that makes you think it is cleaned? And or harshly cleaned?
Do you think if it came back slabbed from PCGS labeled Genuine "cleaned" that it would increase it's value?

Thank you all right kindly! It's a very nice coin and I like it, but the luster seems a little impaired, it's "shiny", not "frosty", if that makes sense. Also some light hairlines are the kicker for me.
I've seen coins that look more harshly cleaned come back graded, so I might try to submit it, but it would be a gamble because a genuine label always devalues something in my opinion. Last month I sent an 1893 Barber Dime in to PCGS that was almost guaranteed to go Genuine because it looked severely cleaned and even had a nasty gash on the chin! Nope, not sure how, but that Barb came back AU-58 LOL Go figure!
