For $89, I couldn't resist. It spent two weeks in limbo at the Post Office, with the counter workers repeatedly telling me "we can't find it." Finally, it randomly shows up in my mailbox, and it was worth the wait. I would've liked to go a grade higher with perhaps a cameo, but the price difference is reasonably significant. I'd rather spend the difference on a really nice 40 percent cameo Ike. Barry Chappell and company wanted over $160 for this coin the last time they aired it on Art & Coin TV. Psh.

I must admit though, I was suckered in by the presentation. Not suckered in enough, however, to actually call in. About 3-4 times a year I get ideas for additions to my collection from huckster TV coin shows and look elsewhere to purchase the coin at a significant discount (usually at least 50 percent) to the price that was aired.

It's probably the best looking commemorative coin the US mint has ever produced. One of my other hobbies is visiting and photographing bridges, so this coin brings two of my hobbies together. I must have one of these coins. Too bad they're so expensive.

Not all new, but I started taking some pictures today because I want to have my entire collection photographed. Here are some of the ones I've taken so far today.

The Bust Halfs are my father-in-laws but I hope they'll someday be mine.

A coin I bought here from Lost Dutchman, turned out to be a rare variety due to no Laureate on head.
