You can't go wrong with Heritage! My dime is likely raw for a reason....the surface has a slight shine to it, like it probably suffers from an old cleaning, but I'm happy with it. Can't wait to see your next Seated......you have some knock-outs!
Thanks! I don't see any obvious signs of cleaning but likely an old dip and they usually consider it ma and grade them clean. As to ha they've got a lot of money out of me the last 3 years since I really got serious about coins again I've been off and on for 30 years usually due to availability and finances but with me finally getting online with this iPhone and getting ahead of things I started really collecting again
Could not resist--one of the prettiest Peace Dollars I have ever seen. It is mine now: (NO, those are not scratches on the neck--they are part of the toning patina)
A nice upgrade from my MS 64 PL of that date. This one is toned, solidly PL, CAC and any other year besides the 80-81-82S would have gone MS 66:
Thanks---lucked out. It was just sitting there, and I stared at it, and asked "how much?" We then negotiated for about 5 min.
BigTee, Most of these came out of toned Proof Sets -- not easy to find. The 2003 I bought from CT Member Lehigh for around $100 a few years ago.
Out of all my proof sets the only nice color I have are these. Pictures look awful. I can't seem to photograph toned coins in plastic. None as nice as yours.
