I've wanted a Binion Hoard Morgan for a while, and I found one that tickled my fancy. It is on the way!
This was my last purchase at the PNNA show, but the first one I will share. I got this nice MS Columbian Expo half for a great price. This thing has blazing luster! A no brainer. I got this 53 Half for a good price. A dealer I met last year from N'awlins LA came up to the PNNA show all the way in Tukwilla WA. He's a cool guy and we got to talking as I was looking through his inventory and found this one. It was labeled at $60 and he gave me a great deal on it. This Buff was labeled at XF and I personally thought it was an AU, so I bought it at $2. A nicely toned Lincoln from the same year My first OGH slab in my collection. This Walker resides in a green label no-line Fatty. I'm happy to call it mine. Not too sure why I bought this one, just felt I couldn't say no at $10
These are my "Big" purchases. Friday, I thought it would be a good time to buy my first gold. We stopped to return some materials to a coin shop on our way to the PNNA show, and this one caught my eye. I've wanted to buy a Dos Pesos gold for quite a while now. I immediately had them take it out and give me a price of only $2 over melt. I pulled out a silver eagle and $50 and asked if they'd take a partial trade. Though gold has dropped from $1504 when I bought it to almost $1330 yesterday, I'm still glad I bought this piece because it was my crossing of a threshold I have been dancing around. I also was on the search for three coins but only could buy one. On my hit list were: Trade Dollar MS Seated Dime Proof Mercury Dime When I was on my search, I found quite a few examples of each, but most were out of my price range. I stumbled across a dealer that I ended up talking to for about an hour until the show closed about Summer Seminar. I looked at this coin and danced around the dealer's tables looking for a better deal, and ended up buying this one for $115 and a trade worth $45 for a total of $160ish. The fact it is in an OGH makes me smile even more to be the proud owner of it.
Caz definitely stepping up his game. Love the look of that proof Merc and especially the seated half!
Thanks guys! Though had I not gotten the Summer Seminar Scholarship, I probably would not have spent the close-to-$500 that I had saved up to fund my trip at the show.

I've got quite a few new coins. I'll have to post pics of them when I get more time. I got a 1935 S San Diego Pacific Expo Commem silver half, that's the most recent.
