A large cent from a few weekends ago. I welcome any comments on grade. Thanks for checking it out! -L
Nice ring, I own some beautiful gem too, my best is a 30 carat ruby worth 12,000.00 dollars ! I bought from a government action on proxibid
I'll let the girlfriend know you liked it, she still won't become a member of the forum because she is show shy. It is amazing how much nice stuff is out there that can be bought for purely its metal value. for sure a nice time to get stones cheap
Here's a pretty little pcgs ms-64 green lable. It's showing some crusty dirt on the flank of the Buff but that's about the ONLY down side on this very well struck coin for the date. The 1919 is not known for a crispy strike with needle sharp details so this one is a coin "I" can appreciated. It's a VERY nice buff for the date. All the best....DEX
Finally decided to post a Julia Mamaea I picked up back in Long Beach this past feb. Ive been lazy to post it. What attracted me to it was its weight, nice portrait, and the die clash. Plus it was only $40! Julia Mamaea (222 - 235 A.D.) AR Denarius O: IVLIA MAMAEA AVG, Diademed and draped bust right. R:VENVS GENETRIX, Venus standing left, head left, holding scepter and apple; at feet to left, Cupid standing right with hands raised.
Yes, "AR" is ancient collector talk for silver while AE is bronze and AV is gold. The coin is about the size of a penny MM wise.
:thumb:Very nice Large cent:yes: !!!! a lighter photo on a new thread would be the only thing I would add,as it could be a variety type Lg cent Maybe a set B+W photo??? LionelR
Nice! I saw that one on eBay and thought about going after it but my coin budget is pretty much non-existent right now. Congrats on the pick-up, I bet that toning is going to look great in hand.
2008-P Alaska Statehood Quarter Extra Claw & Die Cracks & Die Chips In Motto This one also, has some Hugh Die Cracks, that start in the Field, and runs though Washington Bust, straight though the Designers Signatures
Got this today instead of paying my bills. I hear the first step is to admit you have a problem, which I don't.
