Working on sets for my kids using U.S. Gold. Going for assembling a set with a coin of each denomination in gold from 100 years before their birth years 2007,2008, 2013 (April due date) for each of my kids.

 

Nothing special here, but maybe a tip for anyone building a NGC 7070 Registry set and wants to cheat a little.
For some reason this coin gets you 861 points even though similar ones only get 1/4 of that.

Yea I'm looking for one with Rays right. Just stumbled onto that Bust. Was at $23 with 2 minutes or so left. Thought that one would set me back at least $100. Heck of a deal.

But let's say I didn't already know the grade - I'd probably call it a 30.

2008-P Alaska Extra Claw Error

My son was out shoveling snow yesterday, and someone gave him a roll of quarters, and found this " Extra Claw "

 

It's double struck and rotated ....A very rare error....CHD

 

not in the best condition, but i found it in circulation.

edit: i forgot, its a 1917 s, my first buff i found.
