Not a Roosevelt collector, but when I saw this, I had to have it. Pics don't do it's color and dripping luster justice. PCGS MS68
Post Big Pictures and ignore those who say they are too big. Those here on CT who complain are either unaware of their browser problem AND THINK it is the posters problem - OR on a computer where they have no control over what browser is used - OR just not computer literate to fix the problem - OR just want I think I ran out of OR's On this forum, browsers should size the images to their monitors resolution width automatically. Cameras are still continuing to increase MP's 20MP are now available. depending on printer/screeen resolution these are huge images. I think it is ridiculous to take a picture and then have to resize it down because of whatever reason, computer too slow, processor too small, outdated or incompatible browser, no high speed internet, etc etc /rant
Actually Peter fixed the image size problem. No one needed to go changing browsers and settings. What Peter can't fix are folks that post giant file sizes. These are two separate things. It's not ridiculous to be kind to those with slow connections and systems. Most have caught on to that and keep file sizes below a meg. At the same time it's understandable that there are those that don't know how to control file size.
Anybody in this day and age who doesn't have at least cable is lagging WAY behind. We're miles behind the rest of the world in internet speeds (Particularly upload speeds) and they're... a decade behind everybody else. Only way it's excusable, imho, is if their financial situation doesn't afford them the privilege of good internet access.
Here's an 1839/6 large cent I picked up at the Long Beach auction recently. Been looking for one for a while but they're silly expensive and I just kept putting it off. Hope you like it too! Lance.
Or they pay per MB on an air card and his pictures burn up my $ because hes to selfish to care about anyone but himself. You can have big wide pictures and not have a large file. But that's that takes 3 seconds of his time
Uh, as someone who left the wireless industry (3 years at Best Buy, 1 as a Sales Lead, 2 years at Metro PCS as a Manager) very, very recently, I can tell you this much about aircards... They're not for casual internet browsing, nor were they ever really designed for such things. They're for business and other professional use, not to read a coin forum. No offense intended, I'm very familiar with the high-pressure sales strategies they use to sell those things, and if you got roped into one... well, that sucks, but I'd either stick to using it for business use, jump up to the higher data cap, or just cancel it.
I know I use it for business as I usually am gone for up to 28 days from home. I usually don't have a problem going over my 5 gig until someone insists on posting large pictures.
...Why not just use WiFi? Every hotel I've been to in the past 5 years has had either a wired connection or WiFi. I understand sensitive work documents might need to be processed over an aircard connection, but browsing forums?
I know she's a little dinged up, but the coin still has that 'Fine' look with a gray patina that results from natural toning. I really like that look on Barber Halves.
